The SGA Homecoming Board is responsible for the management and oversight of specific UA Homecoming Activities sponsored by the Student Government Association, annually. Each position will require commitment to a mini retreat in early Fall 2021 semester (tentatively in August) preceding Homecoming and a full weekly commitment in the Fall 2021 semester leading up to the designated Homecoming Week to include meetings, trainings, and other obligations. Applicants should have strong organizational skills, teamwork abilities, and fresh ideas to make UA Homecoming a meaningful experience for both current, future, and past students alike! Past activities and areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, the following: Communications (Print, Graphic Design, and Social Media), Halftime & Reception, Development, Operations & Logistics Support, Community Service, Athletic Events, Special Events, Choreography & Dance Programs, Campus Outreach, Athletic Events, Marketing and PR, Lawn Decorations, Rules and Ethics, Finance, Step Show (NPHC Events), and Athletic Events.

For consideration, candidates will need to complete the online application, which is found under the position descriptions below. No previous experience is required. Executive Director & Associate Director positions require an interview. Candidates for Executive Director positions are strongly encouraged to have prior homecoming experience.

Executive Director (CLOSED)

One student will be selected to oversee the overall Homecoming Experience and manage the associate directors. Prior homecoming experience preferred.

Associate Directors (CLOSED)

20-25 students will be selected to oversee specific areas of the homecoming experience.  Areas of interest include but may not be limited to the areas listed above. No prior experience required, but encouraged in areas of emphasis.

Application Deadline & Process:  Online Application (Due by September 12th @ 11:59PM ); Interviews Are Sept. 7th, 8th, and 9th, 13th-17th.

Associate Director Application
